تلوث البيئة الحضرية والصحة _ مقاربة سوسيولوجية

الملخص
إذا كان تلوث البيئة الحضرية ظاهرة عالمية، فكيف إذن نعالجها معالجة سليمة؟ إن أي وصف لظاهرة التلوث في أية بيئة حضرية يكون بلا معنى وبلا هدف إلا إذا انحصر البحث وتركز على العوامل التي لها قيمة في زيادة فهمنا لهذه الظاهرة وخلفياتها الاجتماعية على اعتبار أن المتسبب الأول فيها هو الإنسان أو المجتمع. لذلك جاءت هذه الدراسة لتتناول ظاهرة تلوث البيئة الحضرية وخطرها على صحة الإنسان، وذلك من منظور سوسيولوجي، مما قد يسهم في تطوير فهمنا لهذه الظاهرة بوصفها ظاهرة سوسيو-بيئية. وإن الاستعانة بهذه المقاربة في دراسة ظاهرة التلوث كشكل من أشكال التدهور البيئي الذي يؤثر على صحة الإنسان يمثل خطوة نحو فهم واستيعاب هذه الظاهرة موضوعيا. Abstract: If the pollution of the urban environment is a global phenomenon, then how can be studied properly? Any description of the phenomenon of pollution in any urban environment, it is meaningless unless the research focused on the factors that have value in increasing our understanding of this phenomenon, revealing social backgrounds, so that the first culprit is the human or the society. Therefore, this study addresses the phenomenon of pollution in the urban environment, and their threat to human health, from a sociological perspective, which may contribute to develop our understanding, as it is a socio–environmental phenomenon. The use of this approach in the study of this phenomenon, as a form of environmental degradation, which affects human health, is a step toward grasping this phenomenon objectively.
