الملخص
One of the Spanish occupation consequences of the city of Oran was to put the local authorities in the obligation of managing very difficult situation imposed by the Spanish occupant and the agony of the the zianides state. This happened in a unique historical context which leaves the fate of local tribes between submission and revolt. In the foreground, this contribution tried to analyze the origins of these tribes and their role within the baylical makhzen like the controversial case not yet elucidated of the “smala” and the “douair” or for the vassal tributary tribes like “Maghatisse” and other tribes between submission and rebellion like the “bni amer” and “flita”. However, the Spanish occupation will upset its alliances with the region tribes notwithstanding the refusal and anathema thrown by the oulemas and the great Sufis of the time against the treachery of the tribes’ chiefs who accepted to give allegiance to the Spanish
