Assuring Learner Centredness Through Effective Classroom- Management

Abstract

Class management has a central role in developing a learner centred classroom context. Novice teachers and even certain experienced teachers face hard times in managing their classes and assuring learner centredness. In these classes, learners handle the responsibilit y of their learning in an act ive way. Teachers are no more the source of knowledge rather they become the facilitator of the learning process. Effective classroom management is the number one element in the list of being an effect ive teacher. However, the shift from a teacher centred classroom to a learner centred needs certain effective classroom management.
