الملخص
لعبت الأسطورة دورًا هامًا وأساسيًا في إبراز الحقيقة عند أفلاطون من خلال تلك الصورة الرمزية التي اشتملت عليها مؤلفاته، حيث أنه لم يكن يهدف من وراء توظيفه للأسطورة في فكرة الفلسفي إلى تجاوز الحقيقة نحو الخيال، بل إلى تجاوز الخيال نحو الحقيقة الفلسفية بصورة خاصة، و من هنا أصبحت الأسطورة عند أفلاطون تخدم العقل لا الخيال لتعبر بطريقة رمزية عن نظرية فلسفية متحولة بذلك إلى ما نسميه بالأمثولة أي أسطورة ذات مضمون فلسفي و غايات فلسفية وعقلية و هذا ما نلاحظه بصورة خاصة في أمثولة الكهف الأفلاطونية. The myth has always played an important and a principal role in showing the Truth for Plato throughout the symbolic picture that characterized most of his works and writings. To be sure, Plato didn’t aim at overtaking truth towards imagination from his use of the myth in his philosophic thoughts, but he wanted to overtake imagination towards the philosophic truth in a particular way. Plato’s myth thus started to serve reason not imagination so as to describe a philosophical theory symbolically. That theory changed into what we call allegory, i.e,a myth of a philosophic content and a philosophic reasonable purposes. This is what we remark especially in the Cave Allegory of Plato.
