تتجلى أهمية دور التسبيب في الرقابة على عيب السبب في القرار الإداري، فيما يتضمنه من أسباب واقعية وقانونية مكتوبة في صلب القرار ذاته، وهذا ما يجعله مرجعا وأساسا يعتمد عليه القاضي الإداري أثناء رقابته على مشروعية السبب، فهو وسيلة اثبات مباشرة لعيب السبب في القرار الإداري.
