الملخص
ملخص:أصبح تقدم المجتمعات في هذا العصر يقاس بمدى قدرتها على إنتاج المعرفة وتطويرها والتحكم في تقنيات التكنولوجيا حتى تستطيع أن تضمن لنفسها مكان في عالم تسوده التنافسية، من هذا الإطار تأتي أهمية ودور التعليم بصفة عامة والتعليم العالي بصفة خاصة كسبيل لتحقيق هذه الأهداف،ومن هذا المنطلق يجمع كثير من المختصين والخبراء على الدور الريادي لمؤسسات التعليم العالي في خدمة المجتمع والإسهام في عملية التنمية ونقل الثقافة والحفاظ على الهوية الاجتماعية والعمل على تكوين رأس المال البشري،ونقل المعارف والتقنيات،وتقديم خدماتها بصورة مباشرة للأفراد في المجتمع،وغيرها من الأدوار والوظائف التي تصب كلها فيما يسمى بالوظيفة الثالثة للتعليم العالي، وفي هذا السياق جاء هذا المقال للوقوف بشيء من التحليل على أهم أبعاد ومؤشرات هذه الوظيفة. Summary: The progress of societies in this age is measured by the extent to which they can produce and develop knowledge and control technology techniques so that they can guarantee themselves a place in a competitive world. From this perspective comes the importance and role of education in general and higher education in particular as a way to achieve these goals. This approach many specialists and experts agreed upon the leading role of institutions of higher education in the service of society and contribute to the process of development and transfer of culture and preservation of social identity and work on the formation of human capital, the transfer of knowledge and techniques, the provision of services directly to individuals in society, and other roles and functions that all belong to the third job of higher education, and in this context this article came to analyze the most important dimensions and indicators of this function.
