الملخص
بعد المصادقة على النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الجنائية الدولية بروما، ودخوله حيز النفاذ أصبحت المحكمة واقعا لا يحبوه شك في أنها شكلت تطورا بارزا عبر تاريخ القضاء الجنائي الدولي بعد أن كانت حلما راود الكثير، حيث شكل إنشائها نجاحا مهما في المجتمع الدولي، وفي هذا الصدد يقرر البعض بأن تأسيسها يعد رمزا وتجسيدا لقيم وتوقعات أساسية معينة مشتركة بين كل شعوب العالم، فبهذا المسعى تعتبر المحكمة أول هيئة قضائية دولية دائمة مخولة بمقاضاة أولئك الذين يرتكبون أشد الجرائم خطورة والمحددة في نظامها الأساسي. المحكمة؛ الجنائية؛ الدولية؛ الدائمة؛ الواقع؛ المأمول
