الملخص
The present research paper aims to shed light on the notion of narrative verbs and the role they play in setting the text’s line and structuring its tissue. Considered as linguistic Signifiers, narrative verbs refer to other verbs in view of their prospecting quality, as much as they contribute to set out mobility within the narrative structure of the text under a forward-looking relationship shared with the reader at the moment of reproducing the meaning. This paper seeks also to uncover these verbs’ textual formations and different meanings in accordance with their functional positions in the text, which allows the formation of the so-called narrative language horizon.
