Résumé
The object of this paper is to describe the situation of the economic and financial crisis at the end of 2008 in overall view, its causes, its distribution and its effects on the world economy, as well as safeguard measures recommended for the banking sectors. The elaboration of this article on the state of the current world economy and the main challenges of the banking institutions turns out useful for several reasons, the main clause of which is to allow knowing better in times of crisis on 2008 the real state of the world economic situation in which this main sector operates. However, through this paper, we tried to analyze the new data of the world environment and the development of the competition in the world economic scene, while putting particularly the share on the effect of the globalization conjugated to this last world financial crisis and its impacts on the world economic situation generally.
