his exploratory work on the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) on human rationality, in particular the rationality of economic actors, revealed a notable complexity. The results highlight significant ambivalence and nuance. The use of AI can, in some situations, compensate for the limits of human rationality as mentioned by Herbert Simon. However, in other cases it could weaken this rationality. These findings highlight the need for a balanced and contextual approach to the application of AI in economic decisions, taking into account both its potential benefits and implications for human rationality.
Artificial intelligence, bounded rationality, decision optimization, machine learning.
