الملخص
Abstract: The present research paper aims to shed light on the cultural patterns in the contemporary Arab novel, in addition to investigating how it functions within the creative literary work. The study also searches the semantic contents of the novel "Dafatir AL Tofan" - by the Jordanian writer Samiha Kheriss - as a contemporary novel model. Moreover, the study will deal with how this novel embodied questions about the Jordanian identity, which was formed by the mixing of various races in one crucible, giving Jordanian society distinction and diversity. The novel also revealed the ability of women to challenge the dominant cultural patterns, which enabled them to achieve a distinct and complete female identity, thus breaking the stereotype that was humbled by the norms of traditional societies. Furthermore, the researcher tackles how the writer approaches women's issues, in a different, clever and evasive manner, and in a language based on symbolism and semantic condensation. Keywords: Arabic novel; cultural patterns; semantic contents; Dafatir AL Tofan; Samiha Kheriss. الملخص: تهدف هذه الورقة إلى تسليط الضوء على الأنساق الثقافية في الرواية العربية المعاصرة، والبحث في كيفية اشتغالها داخل المنجز الإبداعي، والحفر في مضمراتها الدِّلالية، باتخاذ رواية "دفاتر الطوفان"-للكاتبة الأردنية سميحة خريس-، أنموذجا روائيا معاصرا، وسنُبيِّن كيف أن هذه الرواية جسدت تساؤلات قلقة حول الهوية الأردنية التي تشكلت بامتزاج أعراق شتى في بوتقة واحدة، فمنحت المجتمع الأردني التميز والتنوع، كما كشفت الرواية قدرة المرأة على تحدي الأنساق الثقافية المهيمنة، مما مكنها من تحقيق هوية أنثوية متميزة ومكتملة، هشمت بذلك الصورة النمطية التي تواضعت عليها أعراف المجتمعات التقليدية. وسنعرف أيضا كيف عبَّرت "سميحة خريس" من خلال "دفاتر الطوفان" عن مواقفها اتجاه قضايا المرأة، بأسلوب مختلف، ذكي ومراوغ، وبلغة ترتكز على الرمز والتكثيف الدلالي. الكلمات المفتاحية: الرواية العربية؛ الأنساق الثقافية؛ المضمر؛ دفاتر الطوفان؛ سميحة خريس.
