الملخص
ملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة ما إذا كانت لازمات القطاع المصرفي دور في نشوب أزمات العملة وإثارتها من خلال تحليل لأزمة الجنيه المصري من الفترة الممتدة ما بين 2016 الى 2022، وذلك نتيجة لشيوع ظاهرة الأزمات وتفشيها بشكل كبير في الآونة الأخيرة. استنادا إلى ذلك تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للتعرف على ماهية كل من الأزمة المصرفية وأزمة العملة، وتحليل لأزمة الجنيه المصري، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن هذه الأزمة في مصر لم تسبقها ازمة في القطاع المصرفي، أي أن هذه الاخيرة لم تكن سببا في إثارة أزمة الجنيه المصري. تصنيف JEL : F 31, G 010 Abstract: This study aims to find out whether crises in the banking system play a role in the outbreak and provoking of currency crises through an analysis of the Egyptian pound crisis from the period extending from 2016 to 2022, as a result of the widespread phenomenon of crises and their widespread spread in recent time based on this, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted to identify the nature of both the banking crisis and the currency crisis. as well as to analyze the Egyptian pound crisis, the study concluded that this crisis in Egypt was not preceded by a crisis in the banking sector that is. the later was not the cause of the Egyptian pound crisis.
