وائل حلاق مجادلا عن الاستشراق: إدوارد سعيد كمقدمة لقراءة تاريخ الأنوار الغربي

الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقريب النظرة النقدية التي قدمها وائل حلاق لإدوارد سعيد حول علاقة الاستشراق بالحداثة، للتعرف من جهة على السردية التي يحاول حلاق تأسيسها على أنقاد نظريات سعيد، ومن جهة أخرى على سردية جديدة تعد بتحسين فهم الاستشراق وتطويره، ويجتهد حلاق من منظور متعدد ومتداخل التخصصات في وضع مشكل الاستشراق في نصابه الحقيقي، وإعادة ضبط موقعه الأصلي في المنظومة التي جاء منها بناء على مواقفه المضادة لسعيد، وذلك بإعادة بلورة فكرة الاستشراق لا كمشكل، بل كحل منه وأداة لإصلاح الواقع المتأزم بسبب الحداثة This study aims to approximate the critical view presented by Wael Hallaq to Edward Said about the relationship between Orientalism and modernity, to identify on the one hand the narrative that Hallaq is trying to establish on the criticisms of Said’s theories, and on the other hand, a new narrative that promises to improve the understanding and development of Orientalism only. From a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspective, Hallaq strives to put the problem of Orientalism in its true place, and to reset its original position in the system from which it came, based on his anti-Saeed positions, by re-crystallizing the idea of Orientalism not as a problem, but as a solution and a tool for reforming the crisis-ridden reality of modernity.
