Digital Management Of Crisis Communication In The Algerian Public Sphere; Strategies And Stakes

Abstract

The study focused on the mechanisms and strategies adopted by the Algerian digital management for crisis communication in the public sphere, under the issues and transformations experienced by Algerian institutions, as a trend in managing their regular affairs or in the occurrence of an emergency, to achieve their goals. This study relied on a theoretical-analytical approach with a critical perspective through diagnosing the Algerian experience, using the survey method to narrate the most significant crises that Algeria has faced from independence to the present day. To achieve the goal of the study, which is to demonstrate the importance of digital communication in facing emerging crises, the historical development of major crises and how they were managed communicatively and mediatically were discussed. The light was then shed on the information and communication handling of crisis management through the most efficient use of digital communication in its various forms in the Algerian public sphere, through a set of mechanisms and strategies under internal and external stakes, with the aim of finding efficient solutions for emergent crises.
