الملخص
يتناول هذا الموضوع بالدراسة الأثر الثقافي لاختراع الطباعة على الفكر الغربي، مُركّزًا على كيفية تحرير المعرفة من احتكار الكنيسة ونشرها بين الناس.، ويُحلّل تحوّل الوعي الغربي من فهم ذاتي للآخر قائم على الأحكام اللاهوتية المسبقة إلى فهم موضوعي قائم على المناهج العلمية، ممّا أسهم في تأسيس العلوم الإنسانية، ومنها علم الأديان. كما يبحث في تأثير اختراع الطباعة على تطوّر الفلسفي وانبثاق حركة التنوير. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أنّ اختراع الطباعة أدّى إلى تكسير مفهوم المركزية الغربية، وتبنّي مفهوم الكوني المشترك، وتغذية المبادئ الرئيسية لحركة التنوير بالأفكار المستفادة من الشروحات العربية للمتون اليونانية. This paper examines the cultural impact of the invention of printing on Western thought, focusing on how it liberated knowledge from the monopoly of the Church and disseminated it among the people. It analyzes the shift in Western consciousness from a subjective understanding of the other based on theological prejudices to an objective understanding based on scientific methods, which contributed to the foundation of the humanities, including religious studies. It also investigates the impact of the invention of printing on philosophical development and the emergence of the Enlightenment. The study concludes that the invention of printing led to the breaking of the concept of Western centrism, the adoption of the concept of the universal common, and the nourishment of the main principles of the Enlightenment with ideas borrowed from the Arabic explanations of the Greek texts.
