Bridging The Gender Gap: Egypt's Drive To Promote Women's Financial Inclusion Through Digital Financial Services.

Abstract

Digital Financial Services (DFS) are revolutionizing the way financial inclusion is perceived and implemented, offering a gateway to economic empowerment and societal progress, particularly for women in emerging economies like Egypt. this study aims to analyze Egypt's efforts in using digital financial services to improve financial inclusion for women. By using a descriptive analytical method, the study examines data on women's financial inclusion rates and the growth of digital financial services in Egypt from 2011 to 2022. It outlines the advancements made in financial inclusion for women, the impact of digital financial products on enhancing their financial inclusion and how Egypt's regulations have created an environment where digital financial services can support gender equality in finance effectively. The results indicate that digital financial services have played a crucial role in narrowing the gap in financial inclusion for women, empowering them to contribute more significantly to economic development and societal progress.
