Circular Economy As A Mechanism For Reducing Waste Risks And Promoting Environmental Sustainability - Analytical Study Focusing On The Global Sustainable Development Goals (sdgs-2030) -

Abstract
This study dealt with the circular economy as a new economic model that is concerned with changing unsustainable production methods and consumption patterns, so that it aims to preserve the value of products, materials, and resources in the economy for the longest possible period of use and reduce waste significantly, which would contribute to reducing the volume of waste and reducing its risks, and also enhance the sustainability of the environment, which is one of the dimensions of sustainable development and one of its purposes. The study concluded by highlighting the circular economy as an important shift in economic thought resulting from the rapid spread of the concept of sustainable development and the large and increasing demand towards adopting the idea of developmental sustainability in various parts of the globe, and that it is considered a good starting point and an effective mechanism for reducing waste and reducing its risks and threats, as well as a mainstay and pillar for achieving environmental sustainability and enhancing it. تطرقنا في هذه الدراسة إلى الاقتصاد الدائري من منطلق كونه نموذج اقتصادي حديث يقوم على تغيير أساليب وطرق الإنتاج وأنماط الاستهلاك غير المستدامة. كونه يركز على حفظ قيمة كل من المنتجات، المواد والموارد في الاقتصاد لأطول فترة ممكنة لمراحل دورة الاستخدام وتقليل مستوى النفايات بشكل كبير. بذلك يساهم في تقليل حجم النفايات والحد من مخاطرها من جهة، ومن جهة أخرى يعزز الاستدامة البيئة التي تعد من مقاصد التنمية المستدامة وأحد أبعادها الأساسية. وقد تم ربط وتأكيد هذه المساهمة بالأهداف العالمية للتنمية المستدامة (خطة 2030). خلصت الدراسة إلى عرض وتبيان الاقتصاد الدائري كتحول معاصر في الفكر الاقتصادي مرتبط بالانتشار الواسع لمفهوم التنمية المستدامة، والإقبال العالمي الكبير والمتزايد على تبني فكر الاستدامة التنموية في مختلف أرجاء المعمورة، وأنه يعتبر قاعدة مهمة وآلية فعالة لتحقيق الأهداف المتعلقة بتقليل النفايات والحد من مخاطرها وتهديداتها، ويعد كذلك دعامة وركيزة أساسية لتحقيق الاستدامة البيئة وتعزيزها. كما يعتبر عملا مساعدا ومسهلا لتحقيق الأهداف العالمية للتنمية المستدامة (SDGs) بالخصوص الأهداف الرامية إلى تقليل النفايات وتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية.
