Promoting Financial Inclusion For Growth And Development In Algeria: Empirical Analysis

Abstract

This study examines the impact of financial inclusion on economic growth and development in Algeria over the period 1990-2020 using the multiple regression method. On the basis of financial inclusion indicators, results found that the availability dimension of financial inclusion significantly affects economic growth, while the use dimension of financial inclusion does not improve growth. In addition, deposit accounts and outstanding credit disadvantage economic growth.
