Abstract: Today, the policy of preventing and combating human trafficking no longer depends on the official state agencies alone. Rather, civil society has a clear role in such a task, especially by giving it a legal and pivotal position in this equation, starting with Law 23-04 related to the prevention of human trafficking. Combating it through its second section under the title (Civil Society Intervention). This paper aims to discuss various aspects of the participation of civil society and its role in preventing human trafficking crimes. We shed light on the essential role played by civil society in ensuring the effectiveness of the comprehensive response to combat human trafficking.
