واقع الحرية الفكرية في العالم العربي بين الماضي والحاضر.

الملخص
يعيش المثقف العربي اليوم في عالم يخشى من حرية الفكر، مظنة من أنها فساد وانفلات وعصيان، في الوقت نفسه يخشى المثقف الغربي على هذا المكسب الثمين الذي حققه بعد نضال طويل من الضياع، ذلك أن غياب حرية الفكر في مجتمع ما، هو غياب للوعي بقيمة الإنسان. لذلك ففي هذه الورقة البحثية سنتتبع واقع المثقف في العالم العربي، وأهم المعوّقات التي تقف أمام حرية تفكيره، وعلاقته بالسلطة، من خلال المشاريع الفكرية لبعض المفكرين العرب الذين تصدوا وبجرأة من خلال إعادة صياغة أسئلة تتعلق بحرية الفكر، بغية وضع المثقف العربي في مكانته الأساسية داخل المجتمع، وإعادة ترتيب علاقته بالسلطة من علاقة العداء إلى علاقة التفاعل، ومن الإتباع إلى الإبداع، ومن الإلزام إلى الالتزام، وكل هذا بهدف تحقيق الحداثة المنشودة، وإثبات الوجود العربي بين الأمم، والالتحاق بالركب الحضاري. Today, the Arab intellectual lives in a world that fears freedom of thought, believing that it is corruption, law lessness, and disobedience. At the same time, the Western intellectual fears for this precious gain that heachieved after a long struggle of loss, because the absence of freedom of thought in a society is an absence of awareness of the value of man. Therefore, in this research paper, we will trace the reality of the intellectual in the Arab world, and the most important obstacles that stand in the way of his freedom of thought, and his relationship with authority, through the intellectual projects of some Arab thinkers whoboldly confronted and reformulated questions related to freedom of thought, with the aim of placing the Arab intellectual in its basic position. Within society, and rearranging its relationship with authorit from a relationship of hostility to a relationship of interaction and integration, from following to creativity, from obligation to commitment, and all of this with the aim of achieving the desired modernity, proving the Arab presenceamong nations, and joining the ranks of civilization.
