الملخص

جاء مقال "الاستشراق الكولونيالي وموقفه من الدعوة إلى الإسلام في غرب إفريقيا بول مارتي أنموذجَا" في محاور عديدة، بحيث تناول المحور الأوَّل حياة المستشرق الفرنسي بول مارتي وأبرز جهوده العلمية، وفي المحور الثاني أبرز الجهود الدعوية الموريتانية في السنغال، وفي المحور الثالث أبرز الجهود الموريتانية لفي مالي، وفي المحور الثالث خاتمة تضمَّنت أبرز النتائج والتوصيات التي توصَّل لها الباحث. This article, "Colonial Orientalism and Its Stance Towards the Propagation of Islam in West Africa: Paul Marty as a Case Study," presents its objectives, methodology, reasons for selection, and various focal points. The first section delves into the life of the French orientalist Paul Marty and highlights his scholarly contributions. The second section focuses on the Mauritanian efforts in propagating Islam in Senegal, while the third section looks at similar efforts in Mali. The conclusion encapsulates key findings and recommendations reached by the researcher. The article illustrates Mauritanian endeavors in Islamic propagation and their impact on the populations of sub-Saharan Africa, shedding light on how these efforts contributed to the Islamization of the region.
