الحملة الفرنسية والمترجمون الأوائل

الملخص
شكلت الترجمة غداة الحملة الاستكشافية والاستعمارية للجزائر سنة 1830 أحد أهم الرهانات المعول عليها في عملية تحويل معالم الهوية المحلية عن توجهاتها المكتسبة والموروثة عبر التاريخ . لعبت الترجمة حينها أدوارا شتى تعددت بتعدد الاستخدامات والأهداف، وكانت وسيلة لاطلاع الفرنسي على خصائص هذا المجتمع الدينية، التاريخية والثقافية، فقد كان لهؤلاء المترجمين دورا استراتيجي في إنجاح عمليات إخضاع الجزائريين، فالمترجم احتك بالسكان وتكلم لغتهم وتعرف على تقاليدهم وعاداتهم، وبفضل هذا الاحتكاك تحقق المشروع الفرنسي الذي تحول من حملة عسكرية إلى احتلال دام 132 سنة . وعليه، سنحاول في هذه المداخلة تقصي البدايات الأولي لاهتمام الفرنسيين بالترجمة وأهم المترجمون في الجيش الفرنسي، وأيضا الدراسات التي قام بها هؤلاء وما أسفرت عنه من بناء معرفة استعمارية و تسهيل عملية الاحتلال.
