قراءة في موقف بوخوس الأول من حرب يوغرطة

الملخص
يظل موقف الملك الموري بوخوس الأول من حرب يوغرطة غامضا بما فيه الكفاية، وقد أثار هذا الموقف جدلا واسعا بين الباحثين والمؤرخين، في ظل غياب المصادر المحلية و الأدلة الأثرية، نجد أنفسنا مضطرين في النهاية للاعتماد على المصادر الأدبية "الإغريقية واللاتينية"، المشبوهة بالكثير من التجني والتحامل تجاه النوميد والمور، كما اعتمدنا على دراسات أوروبية ومغاربية حديثة متعددة، وفي كل ذلك ما يدفعنا إلى توخي الحذر في قراءتنا لم احتوته المادة العلمية، التي نملكها -حول موضوع الدراسة-، وبما أننا لا نستطيع تصحيحها فسنكتفي برواية الأحداث كما ذكرت وعلى علاتها، مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار الاختلافات التي احتوتها، وضبطها خلال تحليلنا للأحداث، قصد الوصول إلى نتائج مستساغة، وتبقى هذه القراءة شخصية، ويمكن إعادة النظر فيها بأكثر تمعن. The position of King Mory Bocchus regarding the Jugurtha War remains adequately mysterious. This stance has generated extensive discussions among researchers and historians. Hence, giving to the lack of local sources and archaeological evidence, we were obliged, primarily, to rely on "Greek and Latin" literary sources; though, they are still under question due to their biases and animosity towards the Numidian and Moorish perspectives. Additionally, we have utilized several recent European and North African studies. All in all, we are urged to exercise caution in our interpretation of the scientific content available to us about the subject under invistigation. Since we cannot amend it, we will suffice with narrating the events as stated, along with their flaws.We acknowledge the discrepancies they contain and adjust them as we analyze the events, aiming at arriving to reasonable conclusions. This interpretation remains personal and subject to further examination
