القديسة مونيكا: مكانتها ودورها في حياة القديس أوغسطين (331-387م)

الملخص
نعتزم في هذا المقال تسليط الضوء على شخصية من الشخصيات النسائية اللائي كان لهن بصمتهن وحضورهن في تاريخ شمال إفريقيا القديم، ويتعلق الأمر بالقديسة مونيكا التي نشأت وترعرعت في مدينة تاغست "مدينة بسوق أهراس حاليا"، - ورغم ما صدر من دراسات أكاديمية ومقالات حول المرأة في شمال إفريقيا باللغة العربية- غير أنها لم تهتم بمونيكا إلا عرضا، إذ جاءت أخبارها مختزلة وعامة في سياق اهتمام هذه الأبحاث بشخصية أخرى طغت عليها ألا وهي شخصية ابنها "القديس أوغسطين"، وعليه وقع اختيارنا على هذا الموضوع بهدف إفراد القديسة مونيكا بدراسة باللغة العربية يجد فيها الطلبة الجامعيين المهتمين بهذه الشخصية ضالتهم، من خلال تتبعنا لم كتب حول القديسة مونيكا بشكل أعمق والإلمام بتفاصيلها الدقيقة، من فتاة شعبية بسيطة ذات عقيدة مسيحية إلى زوجة وأم تحملت مسؤولية عائلتها، وامرأة أصبحت مرجعا لجميع الأمهات في عصرها. لتعلن بعد موتها قديسة ذات مكانة عالية في الكنيسة الكاثوليكية.article, we intend to highlight a figure of women who had their mark and presence in North Africa's ancient history, namely St. Monica, who grew up and grew up in the city of Tagest. We have chosen this topic with the intention of providing a comprehensive study in the Arabic language dedicated to Saint Monica. cater to university students and anyone interested in delving deeper into the life of this woman. And to explore the various aspects of Saint Monica's life, from her humble beginnings as a simple girl with strong Christian beliefs, to her role as a wife and mother who shouldered the responsibilities of her family. Over time, she evolved into a role model for all mothers of her era and, following her passing, she was officially recognized as a saint of high esteem within the Catholic Church.
