CSR has recently emerged as an essential concept for assessing the extent to which sustainable development is integrated into the strategy and core mission of startups. In this article, we investigate the challenges at stake and the expected interests of integrating CSR into the strategy of Algerian start-ups established under Ministerial Decree 1275, irrespective of their sector of business. We demonstrated that the founders of these businesses have sufficient awareness of CSR practices as a factor in economic development and prosperity through an empirical analysis of a sample of 26 Algerian entrepreneurs, which explains their high level of dedication. In terms of the projected impact of incorporating CSR into the early stages of startup formation, we noticed that project managers had a 'high' anticipation of these practices having a positive and significant influence.
