جدل الأخلاق والهوية عند تشارلز تايلور

الملخص
لقد كان العصر الحديث ومع بداية فترة الحداثة الركيزة الأولى لإحداث الكثير من التغييرات التي مست جميع مجالات الحياة، فقد نادت الحداثة بالحرية، الاستقلالية، العقلانية، التقدم، كل هذا حقق للإنسان الحديث الخروج من سلطة الكنيسة وتحقيق الرقي والتنوير بفضل الثورة الصناعية، والاتجاه نحو الاهتمام بالعلم، وتجاوز الكثير من العقبات التي مهدت الطريق أمام الإنسان لتحقيق اكتشافات عظيمة جعلت منه يعيش في رخاء وسعادة. وفي المقابل ذلك نجد التطورات التكنولوجية جعلت من الإنسان مجرد شيء وآلة يتلاعب في بنيتها من يشاء، ، إذ وجد الفرد المعاصر نفسه يسبح في العديد من الأزمات، لعل أهمها الأزمة الأخلاقية نظرا لكونها المكون الأساسي لكينونته وهويته، وبهذا نجد الفيلسوف الكندي تشارلز تايلور قدم نقد لاذع لمفاهيم الحداثة، إذ قدم نظرية حول انتشال الإنسان المعاصر مما تعرض له وما أصابه من انتكاسات. The Modern era, with the beginning of the modernity period, was the first pillar for bringing about many changes that affected all areas of life. Modernity called for freedom, independence, rationality, and progress. All of this achieved for the modern person to escape from the authority of the church and achieve progress and enlightenment thanks to the industrial revolution and the trend... Towards interest in science, and overcoming many obstacles that paved the way for man to achieve great discoveries that made him live in prosperity and happiness. On the other hand, we find that technological developments have made man a mere thing and a machine whose structure he manipulates whomever he wants. The contemporary individual found himself swimming in many crises, perhaps the most important of which is the moral crisis, given that it is the basic component of his being and identity. Thus, we find the Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor presenting a scathing criticism of the concepts of Modernity, as he presented a theory about extricating contemporary man from what he was exposed to and the setbacks that befell him.
