الملخص
الملخص تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى مراجعة مدى ملائمة نظرية دوامة الصمت في سياق الفضاء الافتراضي، من خلال تحديد سمات الشبكة التي تساهم في تحفيز الفرد على التعبير عن آرائه ومواقفه بحرية، مما يسهم في تراجع لولبية الصمت، ومعرفة العوامل التي من المحتمل أن تعترض حرية الفرد في إبداء آرائه، وتجعله يتخذ موقف الصمت؛ حيث تكشف المراجعة أن دوامة الصمت عبر الفضاء الافتراضي، تضعف وتتراجع بفعل بعض السمات التي تتيحها الشبكة، كمجموعات الانتماء، وإخفاء الهوية، وغياب الحضور المادي، لكن في المقابل تبرز فعالية النظرية نتيجة تداخل العديد من العوامل السياسية والنفسية والاجتماعية والسلوكية التي تؤثر في عملية التواصل الافتراضي؛ كالرقابة الذاتية، والخوف من العزلة والاستبعاد، والإساءة والصراع. Abstract: This study aimed to review the suitability of the theory of the spiral of silence in the context of the virtual space, by identifying the network features that contribute to motivating the individual to express his opinions and positions freedom, which contributes to the retraction of the spiral of silence, And knowing the factors that hinder the individual in expressing his opinion, and make him take a position of silence , The review reveals that the spiral of silence across the virtual space is weakened as a result of many of the characteristics offered by the network, such as affiliation groups, anonymity and the absence physical presence, On the other hand, its effectiveness emerges as a result of the of many political, psychological and social and behavioral factors that affect the virtual communication,, Such as self-censorship, fear of isolation, exclusion, abuse and conflict.
