التسويف الاكاديمي لدى الطالب الجامعي في ضوء متغيري الجنس والتخصص الدراسي

الملخص
هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على التسويف الأكاديمي لدى الطالب الجامعي في ضوء متغيري الجنس والتخصص الدراسي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 276 طالبا وطالبة من تخصص العلوم والتكنولوجيا وتخصص العلوم الانسانية والاجتماعية، واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي وكذلك مقياس التسويف الاكاديمي بعد التأكد من خصائصه السيكومترية، وأظهرت النتائج مستوى متوسط من التسويف الاكاديمي لدى أفراد العينة، وكذلك توصلت النتائج إلى فروق دالة إحصائيا في متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور، كما توصلت إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في متوسطات درجات أفراد العينة تعزى لمتغير التخصص الدراسي لصالح طلبة تخصص العلوم الانسانية والاجتماعية. The current study aimed to identify the academic procrastination of university students in the light of the variables of gender and academic speciality. The study sample consisted 276 male and female students from science and technology speciality and humanities and social sciences. The researcher used the descriptive approach, as well as the academic procrastination scale after confirming its psychometric properties. The results showed the average level of academic procrastination among the sample members, and the results also found statistically significant differences in the average scores due to the gender variable in favor of males. The study also found that there were statistically significant differences in the average scores of the sample members due to the academic speciality in favor of students of humanities and social sciences
