ملخص بالعربية: تعدّ "النوستالجيا" من المواضيع الهامة التي نالت حيّزا واسعا في الدراسات الأدبية، وهي مصطلح غربي يقابله لفظ "الحنين" باللغة العربية، ويعد نزعة إنسانية ملازمة للفرد في كل مكان وزمان، ولقد عصف بالشعراء وهزّ قلوبهم، فزادهم شغفا لجوانب تتعلق بحياتهم لأنّ ذكريات الماضي جزء لا يتجزأ منها، فهي محفورة في داخله لذلك يتوق إلى العودة لها، والعيش في زمانها مرّة أخرى. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تتبع تجليات ظاهرة "النوستالجيا" في قصيدة (غريب على الخليج) لـــ: (بدر شاكر السّياب)، وتعبيره عن معاناته ومأساته جراء ابتعاده عن وطنه، بسبب الوضع السياسي القائم في العراق، واسترجاعه لذكريات الماضي وشوق العودة إليها. Abstract : Nostalgia is an important and much discussed theme in literary works. It is an occidental loan concept. It is an inherent humanistic tendency for all humans whenever and wherever they may be. It is also present in poems because it evokes souvenirs which are important part of past that all wish to bring back to experience it again. This research is concerned with the analysis of nostalgia aspects in the the “strange to Gulf” poem of Badr Chaker Esseyab, we focus on the linguistic expressions revealing the pain he suffered while he was far from his homeland because of bad political situation, and his wish to recover his souvenirs. The problematic can be thus formulated: How was nostalgia represented in the “strange to Gulf” poem? To what extent the poet succeeded in expressing his emotions towards his homeland? How did the poet influence his readers?
