الملخص
الملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد وضبط مواسم اليمن الزراعية وأبرز طرق الري التي مارسها اليمنيون القدامى في ضل بيئة شحيحة المياه ذات تساقط موسمي، هذا التحدي والتفوق جعل من الزراعة شريان حياة المجتمع اليمني القديم، وإحدى ركائز الاقتصاد الذي اقترن ازدهاره بتجارة محاصيلهم الغذائية والطبية والعطرية التي تنتجها أرضهم الطيبة، حتى سميت باليمن الخضراء واليمن السعيد لكثرة الزروع وتنوع المحاصيل، وأصبحت مركزا حضاريا وقطبا زراعيا وتجاريا بشبه الجزير العربية والعالم القديم ككل، لا تقل شأنا عن باقي الحضارات الأخرى. Abstract This study aims to identify and control Yemen’s agricultural seasons and the most notable irrigation methods practiced by ancient Yemenis in the light of a water-scarce environment with seasonal precipitation. This challenge and superiority have made agriculture the lifeblood of the ancient Yemeni society, and one of the economic pillars whose prosperity has been accompanied by trade in their food, medical and aromatic crops produced by their land. It was called the Green Yemen and the Happy Yemen for its rich cultivation and variety of crops. It has become a center of civilization and an agricultural and commercial pole in the Arab Peninsula and the ancient world as a whole, no less than other civilizations.
