Résumé

Notre présent article porte sur le thème de l’ironie, l’interculturel et la méta-narrativité dans « Barbe Bleue ». Ce conte de Charles Perrault réécrit sous forme de roman de fiction avec la plume d’Amélie Nothomb a renversé les rôles et bouleversé les conceptions en en tissant un drame contemporain sous forme de roman habillé d’humour noir, d’ironie et de sarcasme. A travers l’étude des particularités de cette modernisation de ce conte dans ses deux versions, nous essayons d’interpréter les conceptions d’humour et d’ironie d’une part, et d’interculturalité d’autre part. Un constat est fait : Amélie Nothomb reconstruit le conte de Perrault dans un mode méta-narratif, tout en lui donnant une dimension moderne à trait sentimental et ironique. Car, pour elle, ce conte est revisité autrement, et doit se lire d’une autre façon. En effet, un jeu étonnant de contradictions et d’étrangeté nourrit l’intrigue de ce Barbe bleue qui est délicieux par ses plats, beau par ces tableaux d’art et charmant par les sensualités et l’intelligence des protagonistes, mais aussi effrayant par son essence. Abstruct This article deals with the subjects of: irony, interculturality and metanarrativity in "Barbe Bleue--Blue Beard". This tale by Charles Perrault rewritten in the form of a fiction novel with the pen of Amélie Nothomb has reversed roles and overturned conceptions by weaving a contemporary drama in the form of a novel dressed in black humor, irony and sarcasm. By studying the peculiarities of this modernization of the tale in its two versions, we try to interpret the conceptions of humor and irony on the one hand, and interculturality on the other. One observation is made: Amélie Nothomb reconstructs Perrault's tale in a metanarrative fashion, while giving it a modern dimension with a sentimental and ironic trait. Because, for her, this tale is revisited differently, and must be read in another way. Indeed, an astonishing play of contradictions and strangeness feeds the intrigue of this Bluebeard which is delicious by its dishes, beautiful by these paintings of art and charming by the sensualities and the intelligence of the protagonists, but also frightening by its essence.
