Riassunto: Nel presente articolo abbiamo fatto una lettura critica sull’opera Scontro di civiltà per un ascensore a piazza Vittorio,dello scrittore algerino Amara Lakhous. Per esplorare una lettura critica pertinente ci siamo basati sulla sociocritica come approccio di analisi del testo letterario. Da questo studio abbiamo voluto mettere in risalto gli aspetti sociali evocati nell’opera. Usando come strumenti di analisi: l’ironia, l’allusione agli eventi politici e storici reali, lo studio dei nomi o l’onomastica che sono stati proficui per effettuare la critica mirata. Insomma, abbiamo voluto mettere in rilievol’aspetto sociale evocato nel testo tramite il fenomeno di immigrazione . Abstract: In this article, we have made a critical reading of Clash of civilizations Over an Elevator in Piazza Vittorio by the Algerian writer Amara Lakhous To explore a pertinent critical reading, we relied on sociocritical as an approach to analyzing the literary text, highlighting the social aspects evoked in the work. Using as tools of analysis: irony, an allusion to real political and historical events, the study of names or onomastics that have been profitable for carrying out targeted criticism. From this research, we wanted to highlight the social aspect evoked in the text through the phenomenon of immigration. الملخص: يتناول المقال قراءة نقدية في رواية الكاتب الجزائري عمارة لخوص الموسومة ب: صراع الحضارات في ساحة فيتوريو. لنقد الرواية اعتمدنا على النقد الاجتماعي كنهج لتحليل النص الأدبي وإبراز المظاهر الاجتماعية المذكورة في الرواية كالهجرة و الجريمة و البحث عن العمل ....إلخ و عليه ارتأينا دراسة التسميات و الشخصيات و الأماكن كأدوات للتحليل النقدي. من الشخصيات المدروسة أحمد المكنى أماديو الذي يعيش في صراع دائم مع نفسه و مع المجتمع الجديد محاولا أن يكون إيطاليا مسميا نفسه أماديو و جزائريا في نفس الوقت فالشخصية عبارة عن صورة نمطية لكل مغترب
