الملخص
إن الدافع من وراء اختيارنا لموضوع تقييم المؤرخ أبو القاسم سعد الله للحكم العثماني بالجزائر ، هو ما ذكره المؤرخ نفسه حول قناعته بضرورة إيلاء هذه الفترة بكثير من الاهتمام خاصة في مجال التنقيب عن المخطوطات ذات الصلة بهذا العصر، و التي لم تحقق إلى غاية يومنا الحالي. حاولت أن أقف عند تقييم المؤرخ سعد الله للعهد العثماني من خلال كتابه تاريخ الجزائر الثقافي في جزئه الأول والثاني والذي يغطي فيه مرحلة الجزائر العثمانية ما بين 1500 و1830م. و من هنا يحق لنا طرح التساؤلات الآتية: كيف قيم المؤرخ الفترة؟ و ما هي الحقائق التي أوصلته إلى ذلك التقييم؟ وهذا ما سأحاول الإجابة عنه في هذه الدراسة. The motive behind our choice of the subject of historian Abu al-Qasim Saadallah’s evaluation of the Ottoman rule in Algeria is what the historian himself mentioned about his conviction that this period should be given a lot of attention, especially in the field of excavation of manuscripts related to this era, which have not been achieved until the present day. I tried to stop the historian Saadallah's evaluation of the Ottoman era through his book The Cultural History of Algeria in its first and second parts, in which he covers the stage of Ottoman Algeria between 1500 and 1830. From here we have the right to ask the following questions: How did the historian evaluate the period? And what are the facts that led him to that evaluation? This is what I will try to answer in this study.
