ملخص: يعتبر مفهوم السلطة من أهم المفاهيم السياسية التي أثارت الفكر الفلسفي من أقدم العصور إلى اليوم، وذلك يعود إلى ارتباط مشكلة السلطة بمختلف المشكلات السياسية والاجتماعية، فالبحث في السلطة يعني البحث في مصادرها، وشرعيتها، وطبيعتها، وكذلك النظام السياسي الذي ينبغي إن تمارس من خلاله هذه السلطة. قد يبدو في البداية أن مفهوم السلطة يرتبط بمفهوم الدولة الحديثة، ولكن من حيث الممارسة فقد ساير التفكير الإنساني عبر العصور، بداية من أقدم الحضارات في الشرق وصولا إلى العصر الحالي، وللبحث في هذا الموضوع وجب الحفر في تاريخ الحضارات الشرقية القديمة وما قدمته من مشاريع سياسية، يمكن أن نستخلص منها مفهوم السلطة قبل مرحلة التنظير اليوناني وظهور ما يسمى علم السياسة. Abstract : The concept of authority is one of the most important political concepts that raised philosophical thought from ancient times until today. This is due to the association of the problem of authority with various political and social problems. The search for power means searching the sources, legitimacy and nature of the problem. Authority, It may seem at first that the concept of Authority is linked to the concept of the modern state, but in practice, human thinking has gone down through the ages, beginning with the oldest civilizations in the East to the present age, and to study in this subject must be engraved in the history of ancient Eastern civilizations and their political projects , We can draw from them the concept of authority before the stage of Greek theorization and the emergence of so-called political science
