This study aimed at identifying the major challenges facing the implementation of comprehensive quality measures in general education in Côte d'Ivoire. It also aimed at identifying ways of overcoming those challenges. The study used the descriptive survey through questionnaire which included (44) items. The major findings of the study showed that; the challenges to the implementation of comprehensive quality in schools was due to the absence of strategic plan in light of the overall quality standards in schools, lack of multiple sources of funding for education, weaknesses in supporting workers materially and morally, absence of professional standards for the appointment of teachers. The study also revealed the important proposals to overcome the challenges to the application of comprehensive quality as: Holding continuous training programs for trainers and teachers in the field of comprehensive quality, activating the school administrative organ which is in charge of quality at school. This study recommended the need to develop a strategic plan for training of school administrators and teachers about the quality requirements and concepts in general education.
