الملخص
الملخص باللغة العربية مصر القرن التاسع عشر بين التمثيل والواقع؛ مقاربة مقارنة لنماذج شعرية إنجليزية وكتابات استشراقية ومصرية في سياق زمني امتد لأكثر من عشرين عامًا عامًا ظللت مشغولاً بما طرحه تيموثي ميتشل في كتابه "استعمار مصر" الذي قرأته في نهاية الألفية الماضية، وتحديدًا بصورة مصر التي قدمها ميتشل بشكل كان جديدًا جدًّا. ثم في فترة لاحقة اطلعت على الترجمة البديعة لشيخ المترجمين العرب محمد عناني: " مصر في الشعر الإنجليزي في القرن ال19؛ قصائد لأربعين شاعرًا"، وبعد أن فرغتُ من قراءتها عزمتُ على مقارنة صورة مصر التي قدمها ميتشل مع صورة مصر التي قدمها أربعون شاعرًا إنجليزيا عبر هذه الورقة، مع وضع الصورتين أمام ما رسمه المصريون أنفسهم عن مصر سواء أثناء فترة البعثة العلمية أو المهمة التي تمكنوا خلالها من العيش في الغرب أو بعد عودتهم إلى مصر على نحو ما نجد في عملي "تخليص الإبريز" لرفاعة رافع الطهطاوي و"علم الدين" لعلي مبارك، وذلك بهدف الكشف عن مصداقية ما تناوله المستشرقون عن مصر عند مقارنته بما كتبه المصريون أنفسهم بشكل تلقائي عن بلدهم عندما قارنوها بما رأوه في الغرب. هدفت هذه المقاربة كذلك إلى الكشف عن صورة مصر في كتابات المستشرقين مقارنة بصورتها في الشعر الإنجليزي، وهل كانت مصر بينهما هي مصر الماضي أم مصر الحاضر؟ وقد بدأت هذه القراءة بالحديث عن المنهج الذي استخدمته وهو "المنهج الأمريكي"، ثم الحديث عن المنظور الأدبي الذي تعاملت به القراءة مع النصوص محل المقاربة، بعد ذلك استعرضنا أهم ملامح صورة مصر في كتابات المؤرخين كما عرضها تيموثي ميتشل، أعقبها عرض لصورة مصر التي قدمها الشعراء الإنجليز، وفي ثنايا العرضين يأتي الحديث عن صورة مصر عند كل من رفاعة الطهطاوي وعلي مبارك. وأخيرًا اختتمناها بأهم ما توصلنا إليه من نتائج. الكلمات المفتاحية: ( صورة مصر- القرن التاسع عشر- كتابات المستشرقين- استعمار مصر- الشعر الإنجليزي- تخليص الإبريز- علم الدين) English Summary Egypt in Nineteenth Century between Representation and Reality; a Comparative Approach to Orientalists and Egyptian Writings with English Poetry Models For more than twenty years, I've been busy with Timothy Metchell's hypothesis about Egypt in his book “Colonializing Egypt". To be specific, I was interested in Egypt's image that was presented by Mitchel in his book. That image of Egypt was very new for me. Later, I read the wonderful translation of forty English poets that dealt with Egypt's image in the nineteenth century, presented by Mohammed Anany, who was called "Sheikh or the most distinguished Arab Translator. As a result, I decided in this research to compare Egypt' image presented by Mitchel with what the forty English poets presented in their poems. The above mentioned images of Egypt, will be compared with Egyptians' own portrait of their country, whether they achieved this portrait during their scientific or non-scientific missions in Western countries, or, after finishing their duties and came back to Egypt. This proposition could be easily traced in both writings of Refaah Rafea Al Tahtawy in “Takhlyes Al Ebreez” And Ali Mubarak, in, "Alam Al Deen. The main purpose of this paper is to find out whether or not orientalist’s' writings about Egypt were honest, compared with what Egyptians wrote spontaneously about Egypt when they compared it to what they saw in Western countries. Also to find out what kind of image about Egypt appeared in the English poetry compare with its image in the orientalist’s' writings. Was it the old Egypt or the Modern Egypt? Talking about the approach that I used, The American Approach was the beginning of this writing. Then, I mentioned the modern literary prospective that I used in the course of comparing texts. Moreover, I presented/displayed Egypts' most important features as presented in the writings of orientalists, like, Timothy Mitchel. This was, also, followed by Egypt's image displayed by English poets. Egypt in Refaah and Ali Mubarak's writings will be discussed through the previously mentioned display. The paper ended with the results that have been concluded.
