Abstract : This work presents the topic of teaching history in the class of spanish as a foreign language in general and the history of Andalusia in particular. All of us know that History is one of the most complicated and difficult areas to teach.Thus, this paper aims to show that History must be teached in a comprehensive way, situating the student in the past may enable him to better undestrand his future. First, we will begin by giving the definition of the concept of History relying on different definitions of some authors and historians. Then, we will go through the different kinds of History that could be teached in the class and that aim to use this area in an efficient way. After that, we will present some strategies in order to make easier the process education-learning of the period of the conquest of the Andalusia,. In the end of our paper, we will submit a didactic proposal based on activities about the Andalusia History with the goal to apply the strategies mentionned above.
