Autoroutes En Partenariat Public Prive Et Croissance Economique Dans Les Pays En Developpement

Résumé

Dans cet article, nous cherchons à analyser l’interrelation entre les infrastructures autoroutières en partenariat public privé, les investissements consacrés pour les réaliser et la croissance économique d’un panel de 28 pays en développement de 1994-2017. À cet effet, nous avons mobilisé la méthode des données de panel à effets fixes pour estimer successivement deux modèles de régression. Par conséquent, nos résultats ont d’abord validé la contribution significative et positive des investissements réalisés sur la croissance économique (élasticité 0,07%). Ensuite, ils mettent en évidence l’impact positif et significatif de ces autoroutes sur les investissements réalisés. Enfin, malgré leur capacité à générer des externalités positives, ces autoroutes n’ont pas un impact significatif sur la croissance économique. HIGHWAYS IN PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES In this article, we seek to analyze the inter-relationship between highway infrastructure in public-private partnership, the investments devoted to achieve it and the economic growth of a panel of 28 developing countries from 1994-2017. To this end, we used the fixed-effect panel data method to successively estimate two regression models. Consequently, our results first validated the significant and positive contribution of the investments on economic growth (elasticity 0.07%). Then, they highlight the positive and significant impact of these highways on the investments. Finally, despite their ability to generate positive externalities, these highways do not have a significant impact on economic growth.
