This work is aimed to investigate the extraction of sesame seed (Sesamun indicum L.) oil using three different methods (Cold pressing CP, Cold pressing coupled to supercritical fluid extraction CP-SFE and Cold pressing coupled to organic solvent extraction CP-OSE. The results show values of 9.19, 57.15 and 59.52% for CP, CP-SFE and CP-OSE, respectively. CP-SFE was the most efficient method leading to oils with high quality and process residues with minimum remained oil content.
