This Study addresses the influences Andalus in the Mashreq cities . Therelations between al-Andalus and the Mashriq were extremely close throughout the Islamic period. Al-Andalus was subject to the Islamic state in the east for a long period. This political dependency encouraged cultural and economic exchange. A result of this closeness was the reciprocal influence of the Mashreq and al-Andalus in the religious, scientific, artistic, and architectural spheres. At first the direction of intellectual influence was from east to west. In later periods al-Andalus reaped the benefits from the spread of Islam, the Arabic language, and various sciences including the religious disciplines by the conquerors. Nevertheless, al-Andalus soon exerted influence on the east after it experienced a major flowering of culture in the intellectual, artistic, and architectural spheres
