Description
Qirtas for human and historical studies is an internationally indexed scientific journal. It is a journal free of charge that belongs to the Intellectual and Civilizational Studies Laboratory in Tlemcen University. Qirtas is a semi-annual journal with open access, it is protected by copyright, and supervised by a committee of highly qualified reviewers in the relevant fields. Qirtas accepts articles in Arabic and other languages (English, French, and Spanish). Publication is available for researchers inside and outside Algeria in the following research areas: History (ancient, medieval, modern, contemporary) literature, archaeology, Islamic history and civilization, history and philosophy of science, history of education, historical anthropology and demography, culture, economic and social history, geographic and political studies. The main norms of publishing studies in the journal are authenticity, quality of the work, academic language, objectivity, and avoiding ethnical, religious and political racism that lead to hatred, discrimination and terrorism. All articles are subject to double blind review, the committee is composed of a number of researchers, and specialised experts supervised by an international editorial board. The purpose of the journal is publishing studies and scientific research with theoretical and experimental dimensions as well.
