The paper tries to examine the relationship between some quantitative and qualitative variables to stimulate new ideas or creativity among their staff. The enterprises using the formal training programs for permanent employee, education level of the manager, the firm’s size and the enterprises innovation activities are considered as significant variables. We extract a sample of 6566 firms from MENA region available in the BEEPS database. The results show that innovation activity is founded better in firms with high level of manager education and size. The correlation coefficients, demonstrates a small positive correlation between enterprises’ use of employee training and their innovation activities.
