الملخص
ملخص يندرج هذا الحوار مع الفيلسوف ريتشارد رورتي (1931-2007) ضمن سلسلة الحوارات التي قامت بها مجلة هارفارد مع أسماء رائدة من عالم الفلسفة والأدب والمنطق. وكما هو معروف رورتي فيلسوف تحليلي براغماتي، قدم صيغة جديدة للبراغماتية أتاحت نوعا من إعادة الميلاد لهذه الفلسفة التي طالما طالها النقد من أوجه عدة. تطرق في هذا الحوار إلى مسائل متنوعة منها؛ الثقافة ما بعد الميتافيزيقية post-metaphysical والدور الذي يمكن للفلاسفة أن يقوموا به في خضم هذه الثقافة، موقفه من فكرة الصلاحية الكونية لدى يورغن هابرماس، التربية والتثاقف، وضع الفلسفة التحليلية، وجهات نظره في فلسفات كل من هيدجر وهيلاري بوتنام وجاك دريدا، وغيرها من المسائل الفلسفية الهامة. Abstract This interview with the philosopher Richard Rorty (1931-2007) is a part of a serie of interviews conducted by Harvard magazine with eminent names from the world of philosophy, literature and logic. Rorty is known as a pragmatic and analytical philosopher, he proposed a new version of pragmatism that allowed a kind of rebirth of this long-criticized philosophy from many aspects. In this interview, he dealt with different issues such as; the post-metaphysical culture and the role that philosophers can play in the midst of this culture, his position on Jürgen Habermas’ universal validity, education and acculturation, the development of analytic philosophy, and his views on the philosophies of both Heidegger, Hilary Putnam, Jacques Derrida, and other important philosophical issues.
