الملخص

The study aimed to identify the impact of the problem solving strategy in developing the skills of interpretation and evaluation in a sample of the ninth grade students in the professional education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study sample consisted of (70) female students of the ninth grade in Jumana Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls Which was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2018-2019), after verifying its validity and stability. The study reached the following results: 1- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 1 = 1) between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group students for interpretation skills, which are attributed to the application of the problem solving method. 2- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 1 = 0) between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group students for the evaluation skill, which are attributed to the application of problem solving method?
