الفحص الجيني قبل الزواج

الملخص
ملخـــص: تشكـل الامـراض الـوراثيـة والتشـوهـات الخلقيـة نسبة عـاليـة مـن المـواليـد الجـدد، ويتــوقـع إحصـائيـا أن يصـاب طفـل واحـد مـن كـل 25 طفــل إمـا بمـرض وراثـي، أو عيـب خلقـي شـديـد أو تـأخـر عقلـي نـاتـج عـن خلل فـي الجينـات، وبعـض مـن هـؤلاء المصابيـن بهـذه الامـراض يتـوفـون مبكـرا أو يحتـاجـون للبقـاء فـي المستشفيـات لمـدة طـويلـة أو بشكـل متكـرر ممـا يـؤدي إلـى الكثيـر مـن المشـاكـل الاقتصـاديـة والنفسيـة التــي تنعكـس علـى المـريـض والاسـرة والمجتمـع ومـن التطبيقـات العمليـة للـوراثـة فـي الانسـان، الاستشـارة الـوراثيـة والفحـص الطبـي قبـل الـزواج، حيـث إنهمـا عمليتـان غـايـة فـي هـذا العصـر وتحقـق عـدداَ مـن الفـوائـد، أهمهـا خفـض نسبـة انتشـار الامـراض الـوراثيـة، وذلك بتـوفيـر الفحـوص الـدقيقـة والحـديثـة، وتـوفيـر التشخيـص المبكـر لهـا ونشـر الـوعـي الصحـي للـوقـايـة مـن هـذه الامـراض وتقـديـم النصـح قبـل الـزواج وقبـل وأثنـاء الحمـل وبعـد الـولادة وبعـد تشخيـص الحـالـة، ودعـم الاسـرة المتـأثـرة وتخفيـف الجسمـانـي والاجتماعـي والاقتصـادي. Summary: Genetic diseases and congenital malformations constitute a high percentage of newborns. One out of every 25 children is expected to have either a genetic disease, a severe congenital defect or a mental retardation caused by a defect in the genes.
