This paper presents a review of the state-of-the-art convolutional neural network based deep learning techniques, used for skin lesion analysis specially the problem of Melanoma including lesion segmentation; lesion classification; and lesion detection and tracking, In recent years CNN, based methods would greatly benefit the advancement of skin lesion diagnosis and gained more popularity in this domain. This paper gives an important contribution to this research area and summaries the research being done in different tasks used in the literature for Deep learning and developing an automatic diagnostic system for skin cancer.
