This work based - Ivermectin- therapeutic and food -barley- energy combined with a protein treatment –Cofalysor - aims to assess the impact of these medical-dietary strategies, on the characteristics and health status of the carcass in Ouled Djellal lambs, slaughtered at the age of 9 months and a half after fattening of 105 days. Note that Ivermectin injection was performed subcutaneously at a rat of 1ml / 50 Kg body weight, while the treatment of Cofalysor was conducted on intramuscular injection of 4ml / 10 Kg body weight for 3 consecutive days. It was taken in the region of Guelma – Algeria, in October 2014, used 4 males of average live weight 50.4 ± 1.12 Kg. a feed strategies based to grazing cereal stubble for one month, more than 60 % of barley diet in the 2nd and 3rd months, and over 60 % of maize diet during the last 15 days of fattening. Relative to body weight, lambs of the Ouled Djellal breed record 52 % of the carcass yields, 2,5% of mesenteric fat and 5% of red giblets (5 %). These results showed the importance of Ivermectin in the production of carcasses and white and red giblets and best yield, given the limits of the Cofalysor treatment in improving these traits.
