Approche Cognitivo-comportementale à La Phobie Sociale

Résumé

Abstract The social phobia appears during adolescence. It is often preceded by an inhibition in childhood. Its evolution is chronic and is marked of an important frequency of comorbidities: others turbid anxious, depression like very important professional repercussion. At the clinical level, the social phobia, or social anxiety, is characterized by a persistent fear of situations of social interaction where the subject is exposed to the attention and others. It then fears to be judged, humiliated, rejected. The shame of their disorder, their inhibition, the certainty to be the only ones to suffer or that nothing will be able to relieve them, leads the patients to be insulated with their pathology and not to consult. The therapeutic assumption of responsibility of the social phobia turns around the cognitivo-behavioral therapies, of the inhibiting antidepressants of recaptures serotonin which showed their interest in the treatment of the social phobia. Behavioral and cognitive psychotherapy largely proved its effectiveness in the assumption of responsibility of these patients. It makes it possible to help the social phobic patient to confront themselves with its anxiety and to exceed it. Various strategies, are usable: training with the social skills, techniques of exposure cognitive reorganization and relieving. The therapeutist holds to with it a main function, that to support, encourage and guide the phobic social one towards the cure.
