Abstract
The beginnings of the Arab linguistics tradition had been marked by genius as AL KHALIL and SIBAWAYH who proposed innovative concepts for their time and created a multitude of technical terms and intellectual structures in syntax, morphology. Centuries after, they had a real impact on their successors and still exert significant influence, all over the world on linguists who had been influenced by them after a long period of oversight and ignorance. But is it scientifically founded on established facts, or is it an unjustified pride of nostalgic Arab inheritors.
