Abstract

Hesperidin, an abundant bioflavonoid in citrus fruits, has been reported to possess a wide range of pharmacological properties. In this study, the antilithiasic activity of hesperidin a glycoside flavanone extracted from leaves peel of three different citrus species, (C. reticulata, C. clementina, C. sinensis), this activity may be explained by interaction of two enantiomers or diastereomers of hesperidin and hesperitin.
